It was a joy to build and hand over the keys to James St — a project we’re incredibly proud of. The brief was to create a Hamptons-inspired home that blended relaxed coastal living with the breathtaking ocean views unique to Tasmania’s North West Coast. From the architectural vision to the finishing touches, every detail was thoughtfully considered to bring this vision to life.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in the open-plan living area frame uninterrupted ocean views, while a vaulted ceiling and exposed timber trusses introduce warmth, texture and a refined sense of scale — hallmarks of the Hamptons style. The chef’s kitchen delivers both function and elegance, featuring a large gas oven and cooktop, generous island bench, butler’s pantry, and French-inspired fittings.

In the master bathroom, a walk-in shower, large bathtub and dual shower heads combine comfort and practicality, while the ensuite provides a private retreat with a double walk-in shower.

With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, a dedicated office, laundry, double garage and an expansive ocean-facing deck, this home achieves the perfect balance of style and functionality, a true reflection of the brief and a home designed for both beauty and everyday living.
